An exceptional early 18th century giltwood and verre églomisé Venetian mirror. Original reverse painted verre églomisé frame of star shaped form. The mirror boasts a vaulted pyramidal structure, extending outward in relief. Each pyramidal form houses original hand painted glass panels, depicting charming putti amid delicate floral fretwork with fine giltwood perimeters.
